As a common search bar, you can just input the text you want to search. However, if you have a drop-list data type in your workplace, they are excluded from text search. To achieve that you can try using prefixes like 'drop:{text}' then followed by search value.

Can't search sometimes my data, even if it's located within my workplace?

Answer: If you have more than 10 rows or beyond, you'll need to reload all your workplace data. The search function is currently limited to the data visible on your screen.

Which data types are supported?

Answer: Not all data types seem to be supported by the search bar. Only character-oriented data types that are commonly used in the workplace are supported. As an example, you can use the color's hex code search, which employs both numbers and characters. Nevertheless, neither text nor numeric searches for any date in the calendar data type will be accepted in the search field.

Example

For searching "Pending" from a drop-list you can try 'drop:Pending'. Using the prefix 'drop:' will identify the functions that you're searching for a droplist data type.

Which roles or user permissions have access or support for this?

Answer: All users and roles have the ability to use the search bar.
